Happy Monday Lovers Downunder. Aleisha Photography sent us this gorgeous tropical wedding of Lisa and Pete on Daydream Island in Australia, a beautiful place fora destination wedding. Some words from Nelson based Aleisha Photography. “We woke to a beautiful HOT sunny day on the 6th October. Lisa & Pete’ss Wedding Day. We were excited that that weather had put on a great show for us! We spent the morning with the groom and groomsmen as they prepared to go Jet Skiing, then we headed back up the Island to visit Lisa & the girls having their hair & make up done. Lisa arrived with her Brides maids on a stretch Rolls Royce style Golf Buggy! This was a fun and unusual way to arrive at a wedding. The Ceremony was small and intimate followed by Canape’s and Drinks overlooking the sea.

The guests then headed back up the island to the reception that was held out on a balcony overlooking tall lush palm trees, with the sea sparkling in the background as the sun set in the distance. The night was filled with fun, laughter, tears and crazy dancing! For their guest book they supplied a polaroid camera for their guest to snap a photograph and place in the book. They also had a beautiful and very yummy lolly bar open during the night for everyone to enjoy. Surrounded by family and friends who had flown all the way from Nelson, NZ to join the on their special day, lisa & Pete’s wedding was a great wedding to start the season off with!”.
